Bad Habits: A Tampa Bay Tropics Thriller by George L Fleming

“I enjoyed reading this Florida thriller set in the Tampa Bay area. George Fleming captures my attention in the first page and doesn't let go until the end. The plot is a corker--unique, fast-paced, and filled with enough action to keep any story-lover up late into the night. Buried under the prurient appeals of sex, drugs, and violence, Fleming tackles the very real and contemporary issue of pedophilia within the Catholic church. I highly recommend this new release. I'd put Fleming right up there with Randy Wayne White and James W. Hall as great Florida mystery writers.”—C. Michael Hamlin

"This is a fast paced, suspenseful read. I enjoyed the short chapters and the Tampa locale since it's my hometown. I look forward to George's next novel, Don Coyote.."—R. McConnell

“Enjoyed the contemporary characters and Florida setting that George Fleming developed in this mystery. Glad to see it will be a series of books, so I can keep learning more about the protagonists! Personally, I think this book series has the makings of a great cable TV program.”—Rebecca A. Geanaros

""Bad Habits" by @novelist.george.l.fleming is one of the best thrillers I have read in a long time. This novel is full of suspense, and to use a word I saw a friend of mine use on a @goodreads review, it was unputdownable 😊 The author has such a strong voice that I really love, and wrote some awesome characters I hope to see more of (Reed is incredible 😍) I was intrigued from beginning to end. This book also had short chapters, which made his book fly by, combine all of thee above with it's excellent storyline that is summarized below, this book is worthy of 5 stars with a doubt 👏👏👏🙌🙌🙌 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⁣"—Kelly Kapowski

DOUBLE CROSSED AND UNRAVELED by Kelsey Carlee

This memoir recounts the relationships that a young Kelsey experienced, such as how her whole world got turned upside down when she met Howie. It touches on her complicated relationship with her mother, and how the love she developed for Cole nearly cost her life.  The plot makes a full circle from when the author was younger to the adult version of herself, as she grieved the loss of her mother and had to look back at the past to be able to call things what they really were. This book chronicles the author's unraveling through poetry, letters, and recollection as an outlet to heal her past traumas.  Double Crossed and Unraveled is for every survivor of neglect and abuse. It touches on domestic violence, PTSD, sexual assault, complicated grief, addiction, and recovery. It’s easy to get lost in this "riveting" story that's difficult to set down once you begin reading. https://a.co/d/aBAoWDU
