Interview with Brianna Owczarzak | Author of " Tangled Love "

Brianna Owczarzak (oh-zar-zack) is a digital journalist and author of "Tangled Love". It's a steamy contemporary romance novel that is available on Amazon and B&N. She is a 28-year-old Michigan gal who hates the cold. Professionally, she is a journalist. So reading and writing is her life.

Q : How would you describe yourself in one word? 

Adventurous

 

Q : Do you have a specific reason or reasons for writing  " Tangled Love " , Can you please tell us a bit about the book? 

Writing a book has always been at the top of my bucket list. It was always a "some day" dream. Then covid hit and I was forced to take a furlough day from work every week. I thought that was the perfect opportunity to finally accomplish this dream of mine. I have a writing prompt book I like to write in to get my creative juices flowing and there was a scene from one of my short stories in there that I knew I wanted in my book. So I started writing "Tangled Love" with that scene in mind and the rest of the story fell together.

"Tangled Love" is not your typical romance novel. It has heartbreak, tragedy, plot-twists, and lots of steamy scenes. It's about how one woman deals with tragedy while searching for love and finding herself along the way.

 


Q : Can you please share with us your experience to writing this book? 

Writing this book made me fall in love with writing again. It has been a long time since I wrote creatively and I found it very therapeutic. I fell in love with the characters and their story. Some days I would write for eight hours straight because I was so enthralled with the story.

 

Q : Who’s the most important character of this book ?

Sarah Simmons.

 

Q : Is there anything else you would like to tell us about your novel? 

It has some strong adult scenes and is recommended for those 18+.

 


Q : Any upcoming book? 

I am currently working on the sequel, "Growing Love." It is slated to come put later this year.
 

 

Q : What do you do when not working? 

When I'm not working I'm usually writing the sequel or promoting "Tangled Love" on my social media platforms. I also give lots of snuggles to my goldendoodle, Edgar Allan Paw.
Q : Where do you see yourself in three years from now, or where would you like to be?
Three years from now I hope to have several more books under my belt. I would love to be a full-time author, but I don't know if that's a realistic goal in three years. I guess we will see.

 

Q : What is your favourite quote?

Q : Finally, if you could pass on a single piece of advice to authors out there reading this interview, what would it be? 

Don't compare yourself to others. Everyone has their own writing style and their own stories to tell. Writing is an art form, and like all types of art, it is suggestive. Not everyone will appreciate your work, and that’s OK. Keep doing it anyways.
